Way to go Dane!

Meet Dane Steber! As Champaign County Ag in the Classroom continues to grow, so do requests for classroom presentations. This year, we’re excited to welcome our first teaching intern, Dane Steber, to help bring agriculture to even more students each week.

Originally from Olney, Illinois, Dane is pursuing a master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign while working toward his teaching license. His background in agricultural communications and education, along with his involvement in 4-H, FFA, and Collegiate Farm Bureau, has fueled his passion for agricultural education.

Dane looks forward to bringing his enthusiasm for agriculture into the classroom and helping students make connections to the agriculture all around them. Outside of agriculture and education, he enjoys tennis, hiking, and seeking out new adventures.

We're so happy to have Dane on our team!
