Little Acorn Church came about the thought of how it takes one little nut that stands firm to become a mighty oak. As Christians we are like that. We must stand firm, rooted in Christ to weather the storms of this world. All it takes is one little nut/seed to plant a forest. God takes us right where we are and He loves us. As we grow in our relationship with Him our lives begin to change. Our past
does not define us. Its who we are in HIM, we are His children. Together we little nuts standing firm can plant those seeds to start a "forest" for the Kingdom. God will use us right where we are to flourish in His name:))))
Mission Statement: To inspire, empower, encourage others through Jesus Christ. Growing in our relationship with the Lord and becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Beliefs:
We believe the bible to be the inspired Word of God, we believe it to be authoritative and without error. We believe there is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. We believe Jesus was born, was crucified, died, resurrected and ascended into heaven for our redemption. We believe Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. We should all be obedient to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Holy Spirit. We should constantly be growing in our relationships and conforming into the image of Christ. Vision: Growing disciples by providing environments through One on one sessions, triad disciplining groups, small groups, and bible studies that always put God at the center in everything we do. To equip others in pursuing intimacy with Christ, living out the great Commission daily in all we do through our words and actions. Questions about Lamb Center:
What does LAMB Center stand for? Lamb is short for Little Acorn Ministry Branches. What services does Lamb Center Provide?: 1 on 1 sessions, Genesis Program for addictions ( Beauty From Ashes). Small Groups, 2 men’s bible studies, support group, discipleship training triad group (think small). Card ministry(Encouraging Words), Soles for souls walking group/scripture cards group. Bible ministry (supplying bibles for those who do not have one).In the future we are looking at doing in home bible studies/devotions for shut ins. Does Lamb provide financial help for rent utilities etc. to individuals? No
How is Lamb Funded? Kyle and I are purchasing the building. We pay for building, insurance and all utilities, upkeep and operating costs out of our pocket. Donations are accepted and would be applied directly to ministry costs. Can we donate to Lamb Center? Absolutely:) monetary donations, coffee, sugar/ creamer packets, paper towels, toilet tissue. New Bibles (to be given to individuals who don’t have one.) Are you affiliated with a particular church or ministry? We are just a bunch of God loving souls working together as the Body Of Christ, we come from all backgrounds and different churches. Are you a coffee shop opened to the public? We do have a small coffee shop area but this is used for 1 on 1s and accessible to our small groups, bible studies and Holy Matrimony and Joyful Life Coaching individuals. Do you have set hours? NO, we do have a schedule for our small groups, bible studies etc. Due to confidentiality and privacy policy we strive to provide for some of the individuals and groups we have, we do not have open public hours.
