Yesterday was such a blessing passing out gifts to the residents of the LaSalle Nursing Home and Jena Nursing & Rehabilitation. We pray we were a blessing to them.

Last Sunday after morning worship (Nov 30), we wrapped 150 presents for the two nursing homes in Jena. This Saturday morning (Dec 6) we’re meeting here at Pinehill at 9:30am to take the gifts (a blanket and two pairs of socks in each) and deliver them to each resident of both nursing homes. We had a great time this past Sunday, eating chili dogs, fellowshipping, and wrapping presents. Lots of laughing and enjoyment from our youngest members to our oldest!

Join us on Sunday, November 16 for Pinehill’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner. It will follow our morning worship. The church will provide the turkey, ham, and tea, and church members will provide sides and desserts. If you have no church home, we would love to have you join us.

Pinehill’s deacons made and served breakfast Sunday morning Nov 2, and we are so grateful to them. The Deacon’s Breakfast has become a tradition here, and it’s such a great picture of who a deacon is supposed to be in the church…a servant. Thank you to them for an awesome breakfast!

We had our annual Fall Festival on Friday, Oct 31, and everyone who attended had a blast. We are so thankful to everyone who took part in hosting this event. We also had a chili cookoff, and congratulations go to Levi Stringer for winning first place! If you missed it this year, it’ll be coming back around in 2026 😁.

As a reminder, there will be no worship services at Pinehill tomorrow, March 9. We will be worshiping under the tent at the Lazy 2M Ranch on Lazy 2M Road between Olla and Urania, off McCartney Road. We are gathering there for Cowboy Church as we bring an end to the Wild Horse Ministry Benefit. Worship begins at 9 a.m. with Bro. Marty Roberts preaching. Bro. Marty is from Oak Hill Baptist in Booneville, Mississippi, and has been a fixture at the WHM Benefit for the last few years.
Please come and join us out there to worship and for a very powerful preaching of God's Word.

We were so proud of our youth Wednesday night. They helped serve at our Valentine’s Banquet, and did so willingly and with great attitudes. And after serving, they made us laugh and think when they performed skits for us. We are so blessed to have the children and the youth we have at Pinehill. Thank you to all of them, and to the leaders of those ministries and everyone who helped make the Valentine’s Banquet a great night for our church!
