“Make it New” Ministries exists to help City on a Hill Community Church fulfill its mission to lead people in a growing relationship with Christ. In the process of helping to meet the spiritual and material needs of people in our community, it has become obvious to our eldership team that simply giving people money during times of hardship, without requiring some sort of wor

k in response, often creates a mentality of dependence and entitlement. Recognizing that the availability of open job positions in our community is very scarce, we have decided to leverage some of our church’s assets to help create meaningful employment opportunities. We plan to accomplish this goal through the purchase, remodeling, and resale of homes in our community. The mission of “Make It New” is to provide dependable and consistent job opportunities for those who come to us for financial assistance. The jobs offered by this outreach are short-term in nature and designed to help provide financial assistance, not long-term employment. .
