It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Bro. Robert Lewis.

Bro. Lewis was a valuable member of our Hope Chapel family. He was a constant encourager, a worshipper, and a prayer warrior. He faithfully showed up, whether it was in the altar, in prayer, in worship, or at church work days. He served with joy and carried a spirit that encouraged everyone around him.

Many of our kids will remember him for the smiles he brought and the candy he handed out. He had a way of making people feel loved, seen, and encouraged.

Bro. Lewis has finished his race well. While we will miss him deeply, we are thankful for the hope we have in Jesus Christ and for the example of faithfulness he leaves behind.

Please keep his family in your prayers during this difficult time, and let’s ask the Lord to surround them with peace, comfort, and strength.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
