Maples Memorial United Methodist Church Serving Desoto Co., MS & the larger Memphis area since 1840, Maples Memorial United Methodist Church is located at 8745 Goodman Rd in Olive Branch, MS.

Begun for the cause of Christ as a Methodist missional outpost in 1840, Maples’ mission remains the same today: making disciples of Jesus Christ. We encourage the embracing of Biblical life-values, intentional spiritual formation, sharing God’s gifts, and providing an individual witness of Christ to the world. You are welcome and invited to join us for worship at 8:30, 9:00, or 11:00 am on Sunday

mornings. There's no dress code. We welcome you as Christ welcomes you - with open arms and loving hearts. Come as you are.

This past Sunday for Pentecost we were reminded that the Holy Spirit was not meant to stay in the upper room. As our children led us in worship at the beginning and end of the service, we were reminded that the Holy Spirit was heard and felt by ALL of those present that momentous day. We were also reminded that the Holy Spirit still fills us today. It isn’t meant to be stored away. It is meant to be spread to all of those who have ears to hear and hearts to feel. It doesn’t matter your age, social status, or race; the Holy Spirit is meant for you. Take it with you every where you go and shine Jesus’ light to all those around you.
