We meet together to celebrate what God has done for us and through us; and that celebration continues every day of the week as we live boldly by the power of his Spirit. Friendship Church of Christ is not perfect; but we love you and want to share God's Word with you.

God is moving at Friendship Church of Christ — and we want you to come see what He is doing!

Lives are being changed. Faith is growing. People are finding hope, encouragement, and a place to belong. And most weeks, there are only TWO days when we aren’t at the building gathering together to study God’s Word, worship, pray, serve, and fellowship.

This isn’t just something we do on Sunday.

We’re building relationships. We’re digging into God’s Word. We’re walking through life together. And we’re watching God work in ways that remind us that He is still changing lives every single day.

Maybe you’ve been looking for a Bible study.
Maybe you’ve been looking for a church family.
Maybe you’ve been looking for a place where you can ask questions, grow in your faith, and genuinely connect with people who care.

Whatever brought you here — come and see what God is doing.

And if you’re looking for a Bible study but aren’t sure where you fit, reach out to us. We would love to help you find a place to get connected and start growing.

God is moving.
Lives are changing.
And there’s a place for you here.

LADIES, IT’S TIME TO BE STILL.

September 26, 2026, we’re gathering for Ladies Day, and our theme is BE STILL, inspired by Psalm 23:2b.

We live in a world that tells us to keep going. Keep fixing. Keep planning. Keep worrying. Keep holding everything together.

During Ladies Day, you will hear some incredible, honest testimonies from women who have experienced God working in their lives in ways they never could have imagined. Stories of hard seasons, answered prayers, unexpected blessings, and moments when the only thing they could do was be still and trust God.

Maybe you need to hear one of those stories.

Maybe you’re in a season where you don’t understand what God is doing.

Maybe you’re carrying something that has become too heavy.

Or maybe you simply need a day to step away from the noise and be reminded that you are not walking through this life alone.

Your Shepherd is still leading you.
He is still providing for you.
He is still working.
And He is still God.

Come spend the day with us.

Come for the fellowship.
Come for the encouragement.
Come for the testimonies.

Come expecting God to speak to your heart.

We would love to have you with us.

WHAT. A. SUNDAY.

Yesterday was another GREAT day at Friendship! We had a wonderful time being together, worship was fantastic, and God’s Word was brought with passion, truth, and—because it’s Wes—plenty of analogies along the way.

If you weren’t able to join us, you missed a good one! Be sure to click the link and listen to the message.

One of Wes’ points really hit home:

Just because you walk through the doors of a church THAT doesn’t make you a Christian.

And one that Wes didn't mention. Just because you walk onto a golf course that alone doesn’t make you a golfer.

Now, Wes knows this one personally. You can buy the clubs. You can wear the golf shirt. You can have the fancy shoes.

But if you spend 18 holes yelling “FORE!” and wondering where your ball went…

You might just be a guy who owns golf clubs.

Being a Christian is more than showing up at church on Sunday. It’s about knowing Jesus, following Jesus, and allowing Him to change your life.

Church attendance matters. Worship matters. Fellowship matters.

But ultimately, it’s not about simply being in the building.

It’s about having a relationship with Jesus.

So whether you were with us yesterday or had to miss it, take some time to listen to the message. You might laugh, you might be challenged, and you might even learn something about golf.

Sunday was a GREAT day to be together!

We came together to worship, celebrate Jesus, welcome lots of visitors, and encourage one another—and what a day it was!

The praise team was awesome, and Wes brought the Word with passion, energy, and his usual exuberance! Most importantly, God was glorified and hearts were encouraged.

We’re thankful for everyone who came, served, worshiped, and helped make Sunday so special.

Now let’s take that Sunday joy and START THE WEEK STRONG!

You belong here. Come as you are. Let’s keep pointing people to Jesus!

THE SECRET IS OUT!

And no, it’s not that Wes is the best golfer. Everyone already knows he’s not. 😂

This Sunday, Wes is bringing the message “The Secret Is Out” from Mark 8:27–30.

Jesus asked a question that still matters today: “Who do you say that I am?”

Come ready for worship, the Word, and a little Wes-style commentary along the way.

It’s Wednesday… which means we’re officially halfway to Sunday!

If the week has been a little crazy, take a breath. You don’t have to have it all together. You just need to keep walking with Jesus.

Remember:
You belong here.
You are loved.
You are prayed for.
And God is still working—even when you can’t see it yet.

So finish this week strong, keep your eyes on Jesus, and start making plans for Sunday! We’ve got a place for you, a seat waiting, and a whole church family ready to worship with you.

Come as you are. You belong here.

MAY IT ALL BE WORSHIP.

Now before Wes starts yelling, “AMEN!” before I even finish this post… hear me out.

We tend to think worship happens on Sunday.

The singing? Worship.
The preaching? Worship.
The prayer? Worship.
Wes telling the same story for the 14th time? Well… we’re still working on that one. 😂

But worship isn’t just what happens when we walk through the church doors.

Worship is what happens when we walk OUT of them.

It’s serving when nobody notices.
It’s showing up when you’re tired.
It’s making the coffee.
It’s checking on somebody who’s hurting.
It’s choosing Jesus when nobody is watching.

Because we don’t want to just sing about Jesus on Sunday.

We want Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to look like Jesus too.

“Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord…” — Colossians 3:23**

So whatever you’re doing today…

Do it for Jesus.
Do it with purpose.
Do it with joy.

May it all be worship.

You belong here.
