This Wednesday we were so happy to welcome everyone in to our new space! Games, worship, closing out our series, small groups, confetti, and FREE chicken tenders was a vibe!

The cool thing about buildings God’s house is that we’re not doing it alone. There’s people with the same passions and skill sets, some who are able to help us grow and cultivate our gifts. There’s people who are able to not just tell us what to do, but get down in it with us. We’re all unified in the mission to build a kingdom that will last, a purpose to make a difference in the world.

New semester - new space - still experiencing real. A real God • real friends • real life • real purpose

The Numbers 13 tells us about a special people that God chose to serve in his house, the Levites. Each one had a specific purpose, a role to play in ensuring Gods presence remained amongst his people day after day because it was too much for one person to do.

Today, we’re all the special people chosen to build Gods house. No matter how small or insignificant it may be or seem, it’s all holy work and part of the process for people to experience more of Jesus

Week 2 of Build the House. We dove into all the details. Because when God gives us an assignment, he gets specific! Not because he’s trying to be difficult but because the small things play a role in his big plan.
The details will reveal what’s in us, and Jesus cares about the little things.

As his followers, so will we. We’re going to pay attention to the details, be obedient in the small things, serve with joy and trust that it’s all part of Gods big plan to bring more people to experience his goodness

🎶 and just like that we’re back to…🎶 the662 in the building!

What a great night welcoming the incoming 6th graders, making big messes in games, starting a new series and SMALL GROUPS!

Gods house is worth building because it lasts, but to do that, there’s some things God has to do in us first.

Get free! God will stop at nothing to free us from pain, doubt, trauma, shame, anxiety, addiction, depression, all of it. Because we are now the temple where his spirit loves to dwell. You catch that? God wants to be with you. It’s only Jesus who can take the things that once bound us and use them in his house to bring others to him.

Two weeks ago we continued our House Parties with good food, co****le, water slide fun, and a little surprise to welcome home our missionaries!

Chayse shared a message about idols and the danger of putting worldly desires above godly ones. It’s easy to let the things of this world slowly take our attention without even realizing it. As followers of Christ, we’re called to examine our hearts and keep God above everything else.

Our last day in Curahuasi was one we won’t forget! We finished painting the orphanage and headed to the mission center where we met with young adults who are training for work in hotels and restaurants. We had an incredible time of ministry as Tricia and Lily shared about being in God’s family. Bailee shared her testimony and saw God bring three salvations!!

Our House Party was at God's House Wednesday night! The Shappleys hosted at CityChurch and it was a blast. We played human foosball and co****le and more! Plus we ate and worshipped and Ashton brought a great word on identity from 1 John 3:1:

"See what great love the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children—and we are!”

We also prayed for the missions team in Peru - keep lifting them up as they still have one week left!

Next week's House Party is at the Yelevertons, 6:30 - 8:30pm Wednesday night. Hope to see you there!

Day 2: We started the day with a great presentation from Emma about salvation and then straight to work w**d eating, raking, digging, and painting!

For the afternoon, we spent time hosting small groups for the orphans in the mountains, where they spent time sharing their stories with us and us with them! 2 orphans received salvation.

In the afternoon, we got to go door to door inviting people to a service, praying with them and giving Bibles. We got to pray for a baby who had a cyst on her left eye. She was scheduled to have surgery. The cyst was shrinking when we left.

At the service, Tricia got to share her testimony and Chad presented the Gospel. We had 1 salvation and a girl come up for prayer for her mother.

Total 3 salvations and a healing!
