Subject: The thought experiment that stopped me cold

Dear friends,

I want to share a thought experiment with you that recently stopped me in my tracks. Imagine if every private conversation you’ve ever had, every text message you sent hoping no one would see, and every hidden motive behind your actions was suddenly laid bare. I was running a race without really understanding where the finish line was or how the score was being kept.
