The Roman Catholic community of Old Town, Orono, Bradley, and Penobscot Nation. Whoever you are or wherever you come from, you are wanted and welcomed!

The Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord is a single parish of four churches within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland united in a common mission to proclaim the glory of God, to celebrate the Sacraments, and to be of service to our community. Together we form a wonderful multi-generational parish full of loving and generous people, a welcoming atmosphere, and beautiful worship. We invite you to join us, whether you have been a lifelong Catholic, have been away for a while, are a Christian interested in exploring the historic Catholic faith, are searching for a place to heal and find peace, or are simply curious. Our parish picnic is fast approaching!
Our annual picnic is for the whole parish for all ages to join together for fun, games, and food! It is also a time to have a formal welcoming of the UMaine Students to the parish, whether they are brand new or returning! Put it in your calendar now, so you don't miss it!

Join us for this ancient Marian liturgy on the anniversary of the founding of our country! Stick around after Mass for a potluck! In case you need any more incentive, Our Lady of Wisdom Church is climate controlled. So no matter how hot it gets outside, we'll be able to worship our Lord in the Holy Mass quite comfortably!

The Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord is seeking a full-time Campus Minister & Facilities Assistant to support the mission of the UMaine Campus Ministry Program and the Newman Center. This position combines student ministry and evangelization with facilities support, with approximately 50% of the role dedicated to each area.
The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with a strong knowledge of the Catholic faith, a desire to share the Gospel, and a commitment to serving students and the parish community. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to serve in both ministry and practical areas of parish life.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting UMaine Campus Ministry's mission of evangelization and student formation
- Mentoring and accompanying student leaders and FOCUS missionaries
- Planning and participating in ministry events, retreats, service opportunities, and faith formation activities
- Helping foster a welcoming, hospitable, and prayerful Newman Center environment
- Assisting with building operations, maintenance, event setup, and property care
- Supporting the care and upkeep of parish facilities and ministry spaces
