1 ذو الحجة.. زواج الإمام علي من فاطمة الزهراء عليهما السلام
وقع الزواج المبارك للإمام علي من فاطمة الزهراء عليهما السلام في 1 ذي الحجة 2 هـ، وسمي بزواج النورين، وتحظى هذه الواقعة بأهمية كبيرة لأنهما من أعظم الشخصيات وأفضل الخلق بعد الرسول صلى الله عليه وآله وأئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام هم ثمرة هذا الزواج المبارك، ويدل أيضاً هذا الزواج على مكانة الإمام علي عليه السلام عند النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم حيث اختصه بابنته دون سائر المؤمنين.

The Marriage of Imam Ali to Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon them

The blessed marriage of Imam Ali to Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon them, took place on the 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah in the 2nd year of the Hijri calendar, and was called The Marriage of the Two Lights.

This event holds great significance because they were among the greatest figures and the best of creation after the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt, (peace be upon them) are the fruit of this blessed marriage. This marriage also indicates the status of Imam Ali PBUH in the eyes of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) as he chose him for his daughter over all other believers.
