Organized and led by our Creation Care Network of ECCT, with devotions by Bishop Jeff, Diana Rogers, Mother Anita and others from ECCT.

Most of us know very little about the great web of life that surrounds us. The purpose of these daily devotions is to open our eyes to some of the “created ones” with whom we share common ground, to awaken our hearts to their needs, and to take new steps toward living together in peace.

Blue Heron – A French Songbook, c. 1350–1470

A recital of medieval French songs from Machaut to Ockeghem, featuring ballades, rondeaux, and virelais, performed by mezzo-soprano Sophie Michaux and tenor Jason McStoots, joined by Charles Weaver on lute and Scott Metcalfe on fiddle and harp.

Blue Heron is internationally celebrated for its historically informed and emotionally compelling performances of medieval and Renaissance music. Praised as “one of the Boston music community’s indispensables” (The Boston Globe) and for “pristine, urgent and wondrous music-making of the highest order” (Gramophone), the ensemble is known for bringing centuries-old repertoire vividly to life for modern audiences.

Join us for an evening of rare and luminous medieval song performed with exceptional artistry.

Join us tonight to mark the Last Supper of Jesus with his apostles. The Agape Meal starts at 6pm with service to follow.

The meal is simple, reflecting the middle eastern foods of the first century. We will provide the soup, olives and cheese. We ask that each participant or family unit bring a loaf of bread to share in communal fellowship, and a non-perishable food to share our blessings with the Shoreline Soup Pantry.
