What an Epic Nex-Gen Rally! LWT you did indeed LTW (Light The Way) Our hearts were blessed to hear anointed speakers Br Jaycee Carter of Cawood Church of God, Cawood KY; and our very own Bishop Gary Lavender of Living Waters Tabernacle.. deliver timely and edifying messages. A huge shout out to our very dear friends and family from Fresh Fire Church of Hildebran NC, Br Billy Ramseur & Fiery Remnant led us into the presence of the Almighty Saturday through worship.. Sunday morning our very own LWT Praise Team echoed the praise of generations in a mighty way, you guys are amazing. Our Junior and Se ior Power Praise Teams under the leadership of Sis Katelyn Holmes and Caitlin Earl set the Atmosphere each service, raising the bar with lifted hands. Sunday was witness to the debut of our newly formed LWT Impact Youth Choir.. these guys are ready to "Light The Way" in a big way. Br Gary Lavender III blessed us with a artistic worship expression during our Sunday service, what an accurate depiction of what God is doing here at LWT. A shout out to Br Jeremy for the video creation of our 2025 Impact Youth Year in Review, we will be posting the video to our social media account very soon; and a huge thank you to Sis Abbie McMahan and our LWT Youth who have taken up the mantle and are now overseeing all LWT Social Media Presence. Thank you to all who supported decorated served food, cleaned up, held open doors and assisted elderly to and from their vehicles.. every one is important and we cant do it without you ALL. We are excited to announce and invite you, your family; your youth group to this year's LTW LWT 2026 Nex-Gen Rally. This year's event will be Saturday & Sunday February 21st-22nd. We will kick off our Nex-Gen Rally on Friday the 20th with a special outing for our LWT Impact Youth. Saturday Feb 21st we will be blessed with anointed worship from our newly formed LWT Impact Youth Choir & also Fiery Remnant Worship Team from Fresh Fire Church, Hildebran NC. We will also be treated to hear a powerful word brought to us from an anointed young man; Br Jaycee Carter of Cawood Church of God, Cawood Kentucky. Sunday the 22nd we will be blessed by performances from our Junior & Senior Power Praise Teams & Our Very Own LWT Praise Team, Followed By a Heaven Sent Word From Associate Pastor/ Youth Director Gary Lavender. There will be several treats and special acts of worship throughout. You dont want to miss. The Theme of This Year's Event is " LTW LWT " (Light The Way, Living Waters Tabernacle) We are truly a city set on a "hill" and we cannot be hid! Hope to see you there. MAKE PLANS NOW TO ATTEND. Nearly 80 LWT Impact Youth Came Out To Celebrate and Build Kingdom Connection and Make Memories. Sis Leandra and I Also Took The Opportunity To Honor Our Impact Teachers For Their Faithful Ministry Throughout the Year of 2025!

THE MEANING
“What’s Christmas All About?”

Charlie Brown: I think there must be something wrong with me, Linus.
Christmas is coming, but I'm not happy.
I don't feel the way I'm supposed to feel.
I just don't understand Christmas I guess.
I like getting presents and sending Christmas cards.....and decorating trees and all that, but I'm still not happy.
I always end up feeling depressed.
Linus: Charlie Brown, you're the only person I know, who can take a wonderful season like Christmas and turn it into a problem.
Maybe Lucy's right.
Of all the Charlie Browns in the world, you're the Charlie Browniest.
Charlie Brown: Hello in there. Rats. Nobody sent me a Christmas card today. I almost wish there weren't a holiday season. I know nobody likes me. Why do we have to have a holiday season to emphasize it?

Charlie Brown is looking for meaning, perhaps not only for Christmas but also for the bigger question of life itself. Where is meaning? Going to his friends; seeking professional help (Lucy) wanting a diagnosis, even involvement in activity... in the end Charlie Brown found no real meaning until.........

That’s when Linus steps forward and reads from the Bible, Luke 2:
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.”
In that moment, everything gets quiet. No jokes. No music. Just the truth.
Christmas isn’t about being perfect. It’s not about having the biggest tree, the best gifts, or the most likes on social media. Christmas is about Jesus coming to meet us exactly where we are—confused, tired, overlooked, or feeling small, just like Charlie Brown.
Even the little, scraggly tree matters. When it’s cared for and loved, it becomes beautiful. That’s how God sees us. We may feel weak or unimportant, but in God’s hands, we have incredible value.
So when Christmas feels overwhelming, remember this:
Jesus is the reason for Christmas, and you are the reason He came.
Amen.

LWT IMPACT YOUTH (HIGHLIGHTS)

EACH WEDNESDAY IN DECEMBER, LWT IMPACT YOUTH CELEBRATE "THE MEANING"

This Wed (Dec 10) LWT Impact Youth Converged Downstairs For An Epic Gingerbread House Competition; Accompanied By Pastor Gary's Homemade CrokPot Hot Chocolate & Cookies. Teams of all ages came together and began building (not only memories) but beautiful works of Christmas art, with each gingerbread house. Pastor Gary delivered a devotional about "The Lord Builds The House" The great architect and master builder, is building us up into a spiritual house, one which will offer up acceptable sacrifices of worship. We thank Sis Leandra and all of our LWT Impact Youth Teachers and Workers For Helping To Ensure It Was A Special and Memorable Night For Our Youth!!
