Advent Olathe Advent Lutheran Church and Preschool Advent Lutheran Church is a traditional faith community and Preschool in southern Johnson County, KS.

A member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Advent was chartered in 1982. It occupies the northeast corner of 151st Street and Quivira, about one mile east of the Johnson County Executive Airport. Advent Lutheran Preschool is one of our ministries.

What a wonderful final day and an incredible week at Camp Advent! 🐑💛 On Day 5, our campers learned about the Lost Sheep and how deeply Jesus loves and cares for every one of us through games, crafts, dancing, teamwork, and lots of smiles and laughs. From Water Wednesday fun to obstacle courses, Bible stories, new friendships, and unforgettable memories, this week was filled with joy, learning, and God’s love shining through every activity. Thank you to our amazing campers, families, volunteers, and staff for making Camp Advent so special, we already can’t wait for next year! ☀️✨

Day 4 at Camp Advent was all about keeping our eyes focused and remembering that Jesus is always with us! Campers conquered obstacle courses, played focus games, had a camp talent show and learned that even when life feels scary or distracting, we can look to God for courage and strength. We loved seeing so many smiles, teamwork, and kind words shared throughout the day! 💛
