We engage in sinful attitudes and actions and disengage from godly attitudes and actions because we're ultimately afraid that we're missing out on something, but 1 John 4:18 tells us, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love."
