One of the best part of being Southern Baptist is this - today at the Annual meeting in Dallas they are Sending out nearly 60 missionaries to the nations, most of whom cannot be shown due to safety concerns.

The International Mission Board sends/commissions new missionaries all throughout the year at various locations across the US.

Key observations from today’s commissioning service -

Nearly all of them testified to the role of parents, Sunday school teachers, and short term trips early in life in developing a heart for the nations. It is VITAL that international missions is highlighted and taught and participated in at every age of the church.

There are currently 1,200 in training to yet be sent out in the coming months!

The Child Development Center, that Missioanru Earl Hammons leads in tbe Domincan Republic, utilizes this time of the year to emphasize the Love of God. This holiday is celebrated all over the country. And we teach them what true love is through Jesus Christ. John 3:16
