Nobody likes doing this, but frankly, some issues have been raised. As a pastor, it is my duty to address those issues. Attached is our official policy on how we will handle Slow-Moving Senior Adults who attend church at First Baptist Union.

We understand that this may upset some people. Sorry, not sorry. And no...there are no exceptions. I don't care how long you've been coming.

Olivet has been blessed with many strong women of faith who have invested in the spiritual lives of children and adults for decades. Their work is embedded in the foundation of our church.

Our sweet Marie has gone home to be with her Heavenly Father, but she leaves behind a legacy that will linger long in the halls of Olivet.

Thank you for giving to the Lord, Marie.

What a wonderful service we had this morning, with Marvin Akers sharing his powerful testimony. He and his wife, Laura, will be leading us as we prepare to start a new Celebrate Recovery in this underserved area of OKC. Our Olivet CR team is excited to join them in bringing this Christ-centered 12-step program to our community.
