OUR PURPOSE:
Shining the Light International Ministries Church is an assembly of believers in Christ. Our purpose is:
1) To gather people together to worship God regularly, whether online or preferentially in person.
2) To preach and teach the full truth of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that He may save those who are lost.
3) To make disciples of all men, women, and children for the glory o
f God.
4) To spread the truth of God as revealed through Jesus Christ in the Sacred Text without compromise.
5) To equip members to share their faith and to do good works that others may see and glorify God.
6) To provide a wholesome family-oriented environment, which encourages spiritual growth and development.
7) To provide opportunities for Christian fellowship. STATEMENT OF FAITH is the Apostles' Creed below and the Nicene Creed:
We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, he rose again. He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of the saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Prayer for Salvation
If you do not know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior but desire to, sincerely and simply repeat the prayer that follows:
“Dear heavenly Father, I know I'm a sinner and in need of forgiveness and salvation; therefore I come to you, humbly and broken, to ask you to forgive all my sins. I also want to surrender my life to you by making your Son, Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Thank you for hearing me and for making me your child. Now that I am your child, please baptize me with your Spirit that I may be an effective witness. Amen!”
