"Oklahoma City KLIFE exists to influence the OKC youth culture for Christ, so they will know Him, love Him, walk in surrender to Him, and teach others to do so also. K-Life exists to give the middle school and high school students of our community and the surrounding communities a place to call their own. It is our hope that K-Life is a place that is welcoming to kids from every school, background
, and demographic. Our mission is singular. Oklahoma City K-Life exists to influence the OKC youth culture for Christ, through the context of lasting relationships, based on the content of God's word, resulting in transformed lives. We want to influence a youth culture because the world counterfeits the message of hope. We want them to see that the greatest hope, the only true hope is found in Jesus Christ. "Jesus said, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6)
We believe that the power to influence is rooted in the word of God alone. It has the power to change hearts. God works mightily through His Word. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, true Word of God. We believe that all of Scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit, for the equipping of the saints, and ultimately that we might delight in God and God alone. However, we believe that you must build relationships in order to have the privilege to share that Word with others. You must "earn the right to be heard." Intentional relationships are the key to this ministry and what sets it apart. K-Life is defined as a "Life on Life" ministry. What that means is that we, the staff, the volunteer leaders, and the student leaders, want to live our lives alongside the students of our community. We want them to see us doing everyday things, not just standing in front of them teaching. True impact occurs through relationships. We focus our attention on meeting kids in their environment and getting to know them there.
