Church Under the Bridge, OKC Our Vision:

Church under the Bridge's vision is to restore hope to the homeless and hurting. It is our vision to maintain status as a Church without walls.

We have adopted the theory that in order to reach people that no one is reaching, we must do things that no one is doing. We are here to minister to and serve those who do not feel comfortable within the confines of traditional church.

Church Under the Bridge was a beautiul mix of praise, joy, love and reconciliation yesterday!

A huge thank you to Edmond First Baptist for coming out and serving along side us. They provided delicous fresh grilled hamburgers and all the fixins!

We were also blessed by beautiful woship through music from Sarah. Which in one of the songs reminded us “we are proned to wander”. Reminding us how each of us need to call back to our first love.

Then our dear friend and brother Stephen took us into Luke 16. He reminded us that what we do in this life matters. That eternity is something we will have to face, but not without hope! Faith in Christ Jesus can secure our ETERNITY!

Thank you again, Edmond First Baptist, it was a joy serving along side you.

Yesterday was a special day at Church Under the Bridge!

A huge thank you to Norman Bible Church for coming out and throwing a birthday celebration for our congregation. For many in our community, birthdays may pass without family nearby to celebrate with them. Yesterday, we celebrated together as the CUTB family.

Everyone enjoyed a delicious fried chicken dinner, topped off with birthday cupcakes and lots of smiles, laughter, and love.

We were also blessed by a powerful message from the father-daughter duo, Rennie and Evie. Evie shared a story about losing her favorite stuffed bunny. When we lose something important to us, we search everywhere until it’s found. The joy and relief we feel when it is found is incredible.

She connected that idea to Jesus’ parables of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:3-7) and the Lost Coin (Luke 15:8-10). Then Rennie brought it all together with a beautiful reminder:

God is searching for those who are lost.

No matter your past, no matter how far you’ve wandered, you are not forgotten. If you feel lost or disqualified from a relationship with God, know this: Jesus loves you, Jesus forgives you, and He welcomes you. All you have to do is accept His love and forgiveness.

The Bible tells us there is great joy in heaven over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:7, 10).

Thank you again, Norman Bible Church, for helping make yesterday such a meaningful day filled with food, fellowship, celebration, and the love of Christ.

Quick update on Pastor Skye:

First, thank you all so much for the overwhelming love, prayers, calls, messages, and concern. We are incredibly grateful for our Church Under the Bridge family and community.

Skye is back home resting tonight. The doctors were unable to determine exactly what caused everything that happened today. They ran several tests in the ER, and some of those results will take several days to come back. Being that she has been unable to eat or drink much of anything this past week she is severely dehydrated, which made it very difficult for them to start an IV. After 9+ attempts they finally got one in but it only lasted about 10 minutes. Please pray we are able to get her sufficiently hydrated at home.

We also have follow-up appointments scheduled with specialists, and for now we are just taking things one step at a time and trusting God through the process.

Please continue praying for wisdom, strength, and complete healing. We truly appreciate every prayer and every act of kindness shown to our family.

Today at Church Under the Bridge was powerful. From the very beginning, you could feel God moving in a special way throughout the entire service.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate 15 years of Church Under the Bridge with us. It was incredible seeing faces we haven’t seen in quite a while and being reminded of just how many lives God has connected through this ministry over the years. What a blessing it was to celebrate together.

We shared a great meal together, and before worship began, Pastor Chris gave a heartfelt solo in honor of Randy and Skye for founding CUTB and remaining so faithful through the years. It was a beautiful moment, and neither Randy nor Skye could hold back the tears. We then entered into a powerful time of worship led by Jason, Cole, and Caitlin, and heard an inspiring word from Pastor Skye that reminded us of something we all need to hear:

No one is too broken to be used by God.

Through her testimony about how Church Under the Bridge began, we were reminded that God’s timing is perfect, even when life feels messy, delayed, or impossible. What the world may overlook, God still calls valuable. What feels broken in our hands is never beyond repair in His.

Pastor Skye also painted a beautiful vision of what Jesus’ Church is meant to be. Not just a building. Not just a Sunday gathering. But His love in action.

That’s the heartbeat of Church Under the Bridge.
Real people. Real struggles. Real hope.
And a real Savior who still changes lives.

Side note: During service, Pastor Skye collapsed unexpectedly. Thank you to everyone for the prayers, love, concern, and support shown today. She is currently under a doctor’s care and undergoing tests. At this time, we do not have additional information, but we will update everyone as we learn more.

Thank you all for continuing to pray for Pastor Skye and the family. Your love means more than words can say.

15 YEARS OF LOVE IN ACTION!

Hey family—yes, every single one of you who ever set up chairs, dished out a meal, prayed with a neighbor, or just dropped in to see what God was up to. This coming Sunday, May 24, 2026 we’re throwing the biggest birthday bash Church Under the Bridge has ever seen, and you’re on the guest list!

Why celebrate?
Because God planted a little out-of-the-way dream under a highway and grew it into a home where lives change every week. Fifteen blazing summers, icy winters, hugs that won’t quit, baptisms in cold water, and grace-soaked stories only Heaven could write—that’s worth celebrating.

* 3:00 pm

We’ll laugh, probably cry, and give every ounce of glory back to the One who made it all possible. Let’s pack the bridge and celebrate what God has done, is doing, and will keep doing through ordinary people who keep showing up with extraordinary love.

See you Sunday!

Some days at Church Under the Bridge just stay with you. Today was one of those days.

The wind was relentless. Chairs were blowing around. Hair was going sideways. At one point it felt like we might all end up in Kansas. But in the middle of all that chaos, God was moving so gently among us.

Victory Church showed up carrying trays of lasagna and servant hearts. Our friends visiting from Seattle led worship under the bridge with a passion that cut right through the noise of the wind and straight into people’s hearts. There’s something powerful about hearing people lift up the name of Jesus out in the open air where so many feel forgotten.

Then John shared part of his testimony and reminded us of something we all desperately need to hear:

We are saved by the grace of God through our faith.

Not by having it all together.
Not by being perfect.
Not by cleaning ourselves up first.

And then came the reminder that may have hit me the hardest:

God didn’t ask us to be perfect.
He asked us to be present.

Honestly, that feels like the story of Church Under the Bridge.

As we head into our 15 year celebration next week, I can tell you we never felt qualified to do this. We never felt polished enough or “good enough” to lead anything. There were countless moments filled with doubt, weakness, mistakes, and wondering if we belonged here at all.

But we kept showing up.
Week after week.
Year after year.

And somehow, through all our imperfections, God kept meeting people under a bridge in Oklahoma City.

Today was a beautiful reminder that the Church was never about having perfect people in perfect buildings. It’s about imperfect people being present with a perfect Savior.

Thankful for every volunteer, every prayer, every meal served, every hug given, every song sung into the wind, and every person who came today.

What a privilege it is to witness God move in this place.

FIFTEEN YEARS.
And it would have never happened without our volunteers.

For 15 years, people have faithfully shown up under a bridge in Oklahoma City to serve others in the name of Jesus.

Not for recognition. Not for applause.
Just willing hearts saying: “Use me, Lord.”

For 15 years, volunteers have been the hands and feet of Jesus.

Because of thousands of acts of love and sacrifice from volunteers, Church Under the Bridge has been able to serve week after week, year after year.

Together, God has allowed us to see:
• 800+ services held
• 100,000+ meals served
• 350+ baptisms
• 20,000+ volunteer hours
• 75 church partners
• Countless lives changed

Every meal served.
Every water bottle handed out.
Every chair set up.
Every smile shared.
Every hug.
Every prayer.
Every conversation.
Every person welcomed.

It mattered.

Some volunteers came once.
Some have served for years.
Some quietly worked behind the scenes where nobody noticed but God did.

This ministry exists because ordinary people chose to put love into action.

To every volunteer who gave up a Sunday afternoon...
Thank you!

To every church that showed up ready to serve...
Thank you!

To every person who stayed when it was hard...
Thank you!

You helped create a place where people could encounter Jesus, find hope, experience family, and know they are loved.

We want to invite all past, present, and future volunteers to celebrate 15 years of what GOD has done through faithful servants.
