Some sermons stay with you long after the final prayer, and this one will be one that many think about for years to come.

This past Sunday, Jon delivered a powerful lesson titled "Don't Forget to Remember," drawing from Joshua 4 and Israel's twelve memorial stones. He reminded us that God's people have always needed reminders of His faithfulness, not because God forgets, but because we do.

One of the most meaningful moments of the lesson came when he connected those stones of remembrance to the Lord's Supper, and we partook of it after this incredible reminder. Every week, we gather around the table and do exactly what Jesus commanded: "Do this in remembrance of Me." Communion is more than a tradition. It is a memorial of God's greatest act of faithfulness through the cross.

Our Senior Adult Ministry had a great time on their trip to Medicine Park this past week! It was a wonderful day full of fellowship and enjoying God’s beautiful creation together.

One of the greatest blessings of this year's VBS wasn't the decorations, the games, or the attendance. It was the people who made VBS happen!

When all was said and done, we had over 100 volunteers serve in some capacity through work days, setup, preparation, teaching, crew leading, registration, snacks, crafts, games, photography, cleanup, and everything in between.

What makes that number even more special is that it represented multiple generations working side by side. Children, teenagers, young adults, parents, grandparents, and retirees all came together with one purpose: helping kids learn about Jesus. That's what the church is supposed to look like!

What those kids experienced this week was only possible because so many people were willing to serve. To every volunteer, thank you!! Thank you for your time, your energy, your patience, your creativity, and your heart for the next generation.

This week, we saw was a church family living out its faith together, and that's a beautiful thing!! We are incredibly blessed with some big hearted and loving servants!

What an incredible week at VBS!

Over the last four nights, our kids explored the nature of God and learned some amazing truths truths:

God is our Creator.
God knows everything.
God is our refuge.
God is love.

Through Bible lessons, songs, games, crafts, snacks, and so many conversations, we were reminded of just how amazing our God is.

Thank you to our parents for trusting us with your children and making VBS a priority. We loved getting to spend these evenings with you and your children!

And to our volunteers: thank you doesn't seem like enough. From decorations and registration, to teaching classes, leading crews, preparing snacks, running sound, taking pictures, cleaning up, and everything in between, this week simply would not have happened without you. You gave your time, your energy, and your hearts to serve others, and we are incredibly grateful.

Most of all, we thank God. Every lesson taught, every song sung, every friendship made, and every seed planted belongs to Him. We pray the truths learned this week continue to grow in the hearts of our children long after VBS is over.

Rainforest Falls may be over, but God's work is not. Thank you for making this week one we'll never forget!

🌿 Day Two at Rainforest Falls VBS was incredible!

Tonight we learned a powerful truth: God Knows Everything.

From Psalm 139, we discovered that God knows our actions, our words, our thoughts, and even the things we don’t fully understand about ourselves. Nothing surprises Him, yet He still loves us completely.

We’re already looking forward to tomorrow as we continue exploring the nature of God together!

Night One is in the books! 🌿🐒

The halls were full of laughter, the rooms were full of excited kids, and our volunteers were incredible.

On night one, we discovered a simple but powerful truth: God is our Creator. Every child who walked through our doors matters because they were made by Him and loved by Him.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, decorated, taught, led activities, checked kids in, handed out snacks, and helped make tonight such a success.

We’re already excited for night two at Rainforest Falls!
