Some sermons stay with you long after the final prayer, and this one will be one that many think about for years to come.
This past Sunday, Jon delivered a powerful lesson titled "Don't Forget to Remember," drawing from Joshua 4 and Israel's twelve memorial stones. He reminded us that God's people have always needed reminders of His faithfulness, not because God forgets, but because we do.
One of the most meaningful moments of the lesson came when he connected those stones of remembrance to the Lord's Supper, and we partook of it after this incredible reminder. Every week, we gather around the table and do exactly what Jesus commanded: "Do this in remembrance of Me." Communion is more than a tradition. It is a memorial of God's greatest act of faithfulness through the cross.
If you missed Sunday's lesson, or if you'd like to hear it again, we encourage you to take some time this week and watch it. We believe it will strengthen your faith and help you remember the God who has never forgotten His promises.
