It is with both sadness for our loss and joy for her heavenly homecoming that we announce the passing of our beloved sister in Christ, Betty L. Willard. Betty passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on June 17, 2026, at the age of 98.
Betty truly had a servant’s heart. Throughout her long and beautiful life, she served the Lord faithfully in many capacities: as a preacher, a supportive pastor’s wife, a Sunday school teacher, and a devoted prayer warrior. Her love for young people led her to be one of the founding members of the Church of God (Holiness) Harmony Hill Youth Camp in Fulton, MO. Even in her later years, she remained a faithful online member of Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA.
Known for her quick wit, hospitality, and deep devotion to God, she leaves behind a massive, loving legacy including her surviving children, 25 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She has now been reunited in glory with her beloved husband, Kenneth, and her three sons who went before her.
We invite our church family to join us in celebrating her godly life and supporting her family in prayer.

Memorial & Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Church of the Nazarene 7301 South Walker Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73139

Betty will be laid to rest at Williams Timberhill Cemetery in Welch, OK, on October 17, 2026—which would have been her 99th birthday.

Let’s keep the team that departed for the mission trip to Cactus, Texas in our prayers.

May God protect them, strengthen them, and use their lives to bless every person they will be serving during these days.

Let us pray for safe travels, unity as a team, and that the love of Christ will be reflected in everything they do.
