The Elders have been notified of a possible covid-19 exposure, after careful review we have decided to cancel the lunch and dominoes fellowship scheduled for Friday October 2nd and Sunday October 4th worship services at West Metro Church of Christ. The congregation is our priority and to protect those vulnerable we have decided this course of action to be in the best interest of all. Worship services will resume Sunday October 11th and all fellowship activities thereafter. Remember to wear a mask, wash hands and social distance to help protect yourselves from this virus. If you feel sick speak with a medical professional and stay at home to help stop the spread. God bless you all. The Elders. Resuming Worship Services:
Dear members of the West Metro Congregation. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with the leadership during the recent church closing due to the covid-19 pandemic. Thank the Lord we will resume worship services on Sunday, May 3rd. Since our congregation has many members with pre-existing health issues, we must still exercise simple measures to protect each other. Therefore, we are asking your continued cooperation with the following procedures when we reopen services which will temporarily be limited to an abbreviated morning service at 10:30 am on Sundays:

• Keep approximately 6’ apart, except while sitting with your family.

• Refrain from hand shaking or touching one another.

• Feel free to wear face masks and gloves if you wish.

• If you cough or sneeze, do it into the tissues provided on the pews, wash hands or use sanitizer when needed.

We will sanitize the pews, door handles, and all appropriate surfaces after every service. Remember, if you feel you need to stay home for an extended period to protect your health, we urge you to do so. The Lord understands that we are frail while in this mortal body! Remember, these measures are only temporary! Thanks to all of you for your love and understanding!!

Out of great concern for our members, many of whom are at high risk to contract the Covid-19 virus, and in compliance with the Governor’s executive order of March 24th, we are suspending worship services at West Metro until further notice. Our location is within the affected counties that have incurred deaths due to this virus. So please be patient and pray for each other. Remember, there will be no worship service on April 5th as previously planned.
We are considering every possible option to resume worship services in a safe mode as soon as the Covid-19 state of emergency is lifted! Please call one of the elders if you have questions or concerns.
