Our this week are Caleb and Carlye Hodam! They have been part of our church since January 2025 and currently serve on our northKIDS team. When you see them this weekend, please take a moment to thank them for serving the local church so well!
Some of their favorites include: Ironman, the movie Grown Ups, pizza, ice cream, going to the beach, and Basketball (Go Thunder!)
When asked why they chose to serve in northKIDS, they said, "We serve on the northKIDS team because getting to watch the kids grow in their relationship with God is so special to us. We love seeing them have fun while learning more about Jesus!"
Thinking back on their most memorable time here at North, they said, "One of our most memorable experiences—and what first got us connected to the church—has been the DR mission trips. Through these trips, we’ve built such meaningful friendships and witnessed God moving powerfully in the lives of families and children in the Dominican Republic. Every time we go, it draws us closer to God, and seeing the kids grow in Christ year after year from in a completely different country is truly incredible."
Describing North, they said, "The community at North means so much to us. During some really difficult seasons, we’ve had people check in on us, support us, and make us feel truly cared for. Even though we’re there to teach the kids, it often feels like they teach us even more. They show such simple, genuine love and trust in Jesus, and they inspire us to grow and be better every single week."
Caleb and Carlye, THANK YOU so much for investing your best in the next generation. Your impact on eternity will be felt for many years to come and we appreciate your passion and love for the littles! Thank you for being difference makers. You Matter!
