This morning began with an hour drive into St. Louis. Because of road closures it was a difficult task to maneuver where we needed to be, but ultimately, we prevailed. Thirty-four student singers and 10 sponsors travelled 1220 miles through 3 states in 5 days to present the gospel to over 100 people singing in 4 detention centers, 1 skatepark, 1 homeless shelter and 15 “pop-up” venues with 36 people making professions of faith. This morning we had a four-hour ride to Farmington for two scheduled events. We spent the afternoon in the sun at the Farmington Skatepark where we set up risers, keyboards, sound system and stomp equipment and sang, played and shared the gospel with the skaters.
