What does it really mean to be strong and courageous? Is it raw strength like Samson, growing confidence like Gideon, or determined faith like Peter?

Rob's lesson yesterday morning compared three of the Bible’s most fascinating personalities and revealed that courage alone isn’t enough. One had incredible strength but lacked self-control. Another struggled with fear but learned to trust God. A third failed spectacularly before becoming a rock-solid leader.

Their stories uncover a powerful truth: God isn’t just looking for brave people... He’s shaping people whose strength, faith, humility, and love work together. If you've ever wondered why some people grow through their struggles while others are defined by them, listen to this lesson for compelling answer!

Be strong and courageous feels good. God you things. We know we should do even though it surprised him courage and overcoming fear those experiences Empower us. If they lift us up and they give us a Faith that drives us forward. Last week, he talked about Joshua and let me tell you what I had planne...

🍧 Snow Cone Saturday 🍧

You are welcome to stop by Britton Road Church of Christ from 2-4PM this Saturday for a free snow cone!

Even if the weather gets wet (and is not a torrential downpour), we're planning to still be out in the parking lot and have some canopies/awnings to shield everyone from the rain!

See you then!

God gave this command to Joshua: “Be strong and courageous.” But what happens when fear wins, plans fall apart, and even faithful people make costly mistakes? Through Joshua’s victories, failures, and growth as a leader, Rob’s message from Sunday morning explores the difference between looking strong and actually becoming strong through trust, prayer, and dependence on God.

Children are anxious to grow up. They want to be big and they want to be strong. It's really fascinating. And interesting. When especially young children are trying to show you how strong they are there, muscles or what they can take care of your kids for that or whatever. When I was about 4, he cam...

A coach couldn’t get a player’s attention in the middle of a loud soccer game, until one voice cut through the crowd - his mother’s.

Rob's sermon from Sunday dove into the power of a mother’s voice and how the voices we grow up with can continue shaping us for a lifetime.

Some voices become noise... others echo for a lifetime.

One thing called you who kept Sean in your prayers this past week, we got to, as going to do this, we could have gotten about the middle of the week. None of our major fears came to pass. They didn't find any answers. And so he started his third round with the GI doctor so they'll keep hunting and k...

During our recognition this morning of the wonderful mothers and women in our lives, we shared a poem written by one of our teens, Zachary Robinson, for this occasion. We share in his thoughts and are also so glad that God created mothers!

Happy Mother’s Day! 🌹

There is a tension we all feel but rarely talk about: how past hurt, betrayal, and fear shape the way we trust. Rob's sermon from Sunday explored the pull between living guarded and self-protective… or stepping into a life of faith, connection, and trust in God. Hear why a life built on fear will always fall short of the one God is calling you into!

In Acts chapter 12, we find reference to a King by the name of Herod. Agrippa the first. And you may remember, he takes credit over God and God, strikes him with the Fatal illness, he died. Just a few days later. This guy was the grandson of Herod, the Great and his grandfather and his father, sent....

We rejoice this evening as Jayna Piersall gave her life to Jesus!

We are thrilled for Jayna, and her church family commits to walk alongside her as she grows in her faith each day.

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life” (Romans 6:4).

What do you actually know for sure... and what have you just convinced yourself is true?

Rob's lesson from Sunday explains the way our “certainty” can quietly mislead us - contrasting the instability of what we think we know with an unshakable foundation. Are you anchoring your life not in having all the answers - but in knowing Who to trust?

There is freedom that comes when you stop trying to figure everything out and start following the One who already knows.

Yeah, we I have conversations and enjoy doing that, but I was really hoping somebody would ask me that question last week cuz this is the stuff I had prepared for last week. Nobody did. So it's really disappointed and so extra week, maybe somebody will this week Friday. Sean says, what are you preac...
