🎉 Join us in congratulating our longest-standing DC volunteer, Patricia Waters for September's Volunteer of the month! 🎉

Pat has been faithfully serving in our Clothing Closet since 2014, and we are so grateful for her dedication to the OKC Dream Center.

Her efficiency, organizational skills, and servant’s heart have been an incredible asset to the Clothing Closet and to everyone we serve. Her years of faithful service are a beautiful example of what it means to love others through action.

This week our Tuesday Outreach Team served our community in a huge way. 🙌

We served 186 meals with 131 basic needs given out with the help of 10 volunteers at our regular Tuesday meal and basic need gathering. In addition to that 50 meals were given to the YWCA, 50 meals at the Tuesday night giveaway, and 60 meals were given to the Hope Connection.

Then one of our faithful lead volunteers took needed items downtown and was able to bless people with 350 basic need items given away and 60 items to our kids showing up on Wednesday.

It is amazing to see the needs being met when we show up for one another! Thank you for your partnership in helping unleash hope and disrupt poverty!

Monthly food pantry weekend!! ✨

Thank you to those that came out yesterday for the food box prep and today for the drive-thru distribution!! Because of your partnership 104 families received needed food boxes, 17 families received items through the clothing closet, and several others were encouraged and uplifted through prayer!! 🙌

Tomorrow Thursday, August 20th the Clothing Closet will be open from 9am-1pm. The Emergency Food Pantry is continuing with normal hours of opening at 10am and taking the first 30 shoppers.

Last night, despite the record-high temperatures, our Tuesday night family showed up strong! ❤️

Together, we served:
🍽️ 272 meals
💈 4 free haircuts
🧺 180 basic-need items

What started as a meal has grown into so much more—it has become a family meeting every Tuesday night. A place where people come together, share a meal, receive practical help, build relationships, and experience the love of Christ. 🙏❤️

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who makes this possible. Thank you to all who support the OKC Dream Center! Your generosity and partnership are helping us serve our community week after week.

Due to the extreme temps for tomorrow our clothing closet is opening early and will be closing early. Operating hours will be 9 AM to 1 PM.

This does not affect the emergency food pantry, which will continue to be open from 10 AM and taking the first 30 shoppers. Thank you and we look forward to serving you.
