What comes to mind when you think of prayer?

Why Satan Hates Marriage

On the subject of marriage, Genesis 2:18-25 presents primarily the beauty of this God-ordained union between one man and one woman.

God reveals to Adam his need for companionship for his mission, and in so doing, reveals God's prescriptive design for marriage for all time. The only world in which those after Adam have experienced marriage is a world in its fallen state, and the disintegration is plainly seen.

However, in Christ, Paul says, the profound mystery of marriage and the Gospel is fully revealed.

Genesis is a book of beginnings.

Genesis recounts the beginning of God’s world and all that dwells therein.

It explains a world perfectly created, then marred by sin. It records the Lord’s promise to send a Son who will make creation new again. Among many things Genesis answers and addresses, it answers the question of “what kind of God has made these great promises?”
