Thank you to all who attended and served at the Women of Grace event on Sunday, July 26th. It was a beautiful time of fellowship. The message on “Fruit of the Spirit: from Striving to Abiding” reminded us that we don’t produce fruit; we bear it by abiding in The Vine (Christ) and in His love for us.

Galatians 5:22-23 shares the fruit, and 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 gives the behavior of that fruit, how it looks when we live it out.

Let us keep in step with the Spirit, bearing fruit that becomes the vehicle that carries the seed of the gospel.

The person and work of Jesus Christ are the fulfillment of God’s plan to restore humanity to himself. Jesus lived a perfect life, never sinning once, yet was crucified on our behalf. Through his death and resurrection, he made a way for us to be reconciled to our Creator. He did what we couldn’t. Christ is sufficient.
