🌿 The Great Jungle Journey Has Come to an End! 🦁🌴

What an amazing week it’s been at VBS! As we draw The Great Jungle Journey to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate all the fun, laughter, learning, and most importantly—the love of Jesus shared with every child who walked through our doors.

From wild games and creative crafts to high-energy worship and powerful Bible lessons, this week was packed with unforgettable memories. 🎨🎶📖

A huge THANK YOU to all the kids who came ready to explore God's Word, and to every parent who made the journey possible. And to our incredible volunteers, helpers, teachers, craft leaders, and organizers—this couldn’t have happened without you! Your hearts, energy, and faith made this week shine. 💛🙌

Even more exciting, this powerful movement will be led by our very own, Harold Watkins. With his passion for restoration and his heart for the community, Harold is stepping forward to lead this initiative with grace, strength, and a vision rooted in Christ.

Happy Mother’s Day from Shields Blvd Baptist Church!

Today we honor and celebrate all the mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, and mother-figures who pour out love, wisdom, and grace every day. Your strength, faith, and compassion reflect the heart of God in powerful ways.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” — Proverbs 31:28 (ESV)

We are so grateful for the women who nurture both families and faith. Whether you're a mom by birth, by heart, or through mentorship, we thank God for you.

What a Revival Week!

As we bring this incredible week of revival to a close, our hearts are full of gratitude and joy!

We give thanks to God for moving mightily in every service and touching hearts in a powerful way. A special thank you to Mr. Alan Quigley for delivering the Word with boldness, truth, and compassion—your message stirred our spirits and reminded us of the hope we have in Christ.

We are also deeply grateful for the uplifting ministry of June Carter, whose music ushered us into the presence of the Lord each night. Your gift is a blessing and has left a lasting impact on all of us.

To everyone who attended, prayed, sang, served, or invited a friend—thank you. Revival doesn’t end here—it continues in our hearts, homes, and community. Let’s keep the fire burning!

Night Three of Revival – A Night to Remember!

Tonight was nothing short of powerful. The presence of God was undeniable as hearts were stirred, lives were touched, and eternities were changed.

We are rejoicing and praising God for the amazing decision made by some of our youth tonight to give their lives to Christ! There is no greater joy than seeing the next generation step boldly into faith and purpose.

Let’s continue to pray, worship, and believe for even greater things as revival continues. If you’ve missed a night, it’s not too late—come and experience what God is doing!
