Connect: News of the Region
Michael has been in touch with congregations in the Enid area. Week of Compassion has also been in touch with Michael. The Region is sending a solidarity grant to Central CC Enid to assist with their work with members of their congregation affected by last week's tornado. Some congregations are also collecting financial donations to send to the church. Please contact the congregation to ask about the best way to help.

First Christian Church in Guthrie is drying out after a broken water pipe flooded its offices last week. Repairs are underway, and the renovation of their fellowship hall continues.

Last Sunday, April 26, First Christian Church in Sulphur celebrated the restoration of their building after the April 2024 tornado that damaged the church and destroyed much of downtown and other parts of town. The homecoming worship and fellowship dinner was full of stories, gratitude, and good food.

Camp Registration continues until May 15th. There is still space in all our camps and time to register. Don't wait! Contact our Associate Regional Minister, Rev. Shannon Cook, if you have questions.

Disciples, you are a blessing.

Oklahoma Disciples, we remember our neighbors in and around Enid, and other areas in the State who are cleaning up today. Michael has been in touch with clergy in Enid and Waukomis and is waiting for more information so the Region can respond. Week of Compassion reminds us to stay, pray, give, but we are not sure what the needs are at the moment.

Disciples, you are a blessing.
