This Shabbat, as we read Parshat Nasso (Numbers 4:21–7:89), we are reminded that every act of service, every offering, and every individual contribution matters in building a strong and sacred community.
In this portion, each tribe brings its own gift — unique, meaningful, and offered with devotion. Though the offerings were the same, each one was honored and counted. Parshat Nasso teaches us that every person has a place, a purpose, and something valuable to bring.
We also hear the beautiful Priestly Blessing, a timeless prayer for protection, grace, and peace:
“May Adonai bless you and protect you… and grant you peace.”
As Shabbat begins, may we find rest for our souls, gratitude for our community, and blessing in one another.
From all of us at Emanuel Synagogue, wishing you a peaceful and meaningful Shabbat.
Shabbat Shalom 💙💜✨
