Some of the people our team met in Ukraine have lost almost everything.
Husbands missing.
Families separated by war.
Homes left behind.
And still, they opened their doors and their stories to a group of women who flew across the world to be with them. This is the heart behind missions at Victory Church. We’re kingdom-minded first, which means people everywhere matter, not just the ones sitting near us on a weekend.
Our team spent their days listening to widows, teaching, painting, laughing, and giving. They took a group of girls from an orphanage out for a day they’ll never forget! And in the middle of so much grief, women who had never known Jesus met Him for the first time.
We’re grateful for that opportunity, but mostly we’re reminded of something simple and true:
God sees them.
He loves them.
And getting to remind them of that in person was the gift of a lifetime.
