Join us TOMORROW!

Saint Augustine’s is beginning its new Formation Class! For the month of June, Ann Knutson will be leading this class in between services as a way to come together and listen prayerfully to Scripture, listen with open hearts to one another, and trust that God will gently speak to our hearts in the process.

Meetings will be held in the Meeting Room from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m.

We hope to see you there!

For decades, Mother Susan has faithfully shaped lives, guided souls, and helped steward the spiritual life of countless people across St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral and the wider Episcopal community. This Friday, we invite you to help celebrate an extraordinary ministry.

Join us for a Holy Eucharist & Retirement Celebration honoring The Rev. Canon Susan Joplin this Friday, May 15 at 5 p.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church.

Mother Susan served as a longtime priest at St. Paul’s and as Dean & Founder of the St. Brigid School of Spiritual Direction. The Rt. Rev. Poulson Reed will preside and preach, with a festive reception to follow.

Come give thanks, reconnect, celebrate, and surround Mother Susan with the love and gratitude of the community she has served so faithfully through the years. All are warmly welcome.

Dear Friends in Oklahoma,

As we hear the horrific news today of at least 23 people injured from a mass shooting near Lake Arcadia in Edmond last night, we pray for those who have been harmed, and for safety and an end to gun violence in our communities.

O God of heavenly powers, by the might of your command you drive away from our bodies all sickness and all infirmity: Be present in your goodness with those who were injured last night, that their weakness may be banished and their strength restored, that, their health being renewed, they may bless your holy Name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
