Wow! What a great first day of VBS at Southern Hills Baptist Church! We had an incredible day filled with fun, worship, learning God's Word, and seeing kids connect with Jesus.
Take a moment to check out this highlight video from Day 1 and see all that God is doing!

Most importantly, please continue to pray for our kids, volunteers, and leaders throughout the week. Pray that lives will be changed, hearts will be open to the Gospel, and that God will move in a mighty way during VBS.

Let’s be a blessing!

This month more than 400 families have come through the doors of the OKC Relief Center.

With school out for the summer and the cost of groceries continuing to rise, many families are needing a little extra help. If you’re able, we would be grateful for donations of the pantry items listed below to help us keep our shelves stocked and continue serving our community.

Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors and walk alongside families when they need it most.

What a great night at SHBC! We loved seeing our church family gather together for fellowship, breakfast for dinner, and helping prepare encouragement cards for our Illumination Station VBS families.

Thank you to everyone who served, wrote cards, cooked, cleaned, and helped make the night so special. We are so thankful for a church family that loves people so well.
Please continue to pray for all of our kids, leaders, and volunteers as VBS begins Monday. We can’t wait to see what God is going to do this week at SHBC!

Church family, please be in prayer for our Student Ministry as they finish up their mission trip in Kansas City, serving alongside The Way Church. This week, they have helped with block parties, ministry outreach, and today they will wrap things up with their final sports camp this morning.

It has been a great week, and we are so thankful for all the hard work they have put in to serve and share the love of Jesus. Please also pray for safe travels as they head back home after lunch today.

We are proud of this group and thankful for the way they have represented SHBC this week.

Happy Wednesday, church family! We are having breakfast for dinner from Granny's tonight at 5 PM in the gym! While we still have several of our activities and studies carrying on as normal tonight, instead of the Midweek Bible study, we will be writing VBS Encouragement Cards along with 4th-12th graders and their families. We will meet in the gym or in rooms D117-118 in Fielder Hall to write to preregistered kids and leaders. Examples will be provided, making it easy for everyone! We can't wait to see you tonight! We love you and are praying for you, church family!
