Our Lady of Perpetual Help Youth just returned from an incredible, transformative experience at the Steubenville Lonestar Youth Conference! Our high schoolers were truly by the fire of God's love!

After a short bus trip, our teens engaged with powerful and inspiring talks that prepared them for the real highlight... a profound and undeniable connection with Jesus during eucharistic adoration. Witnessing the tears of joy and open hearts as Jesus moved among us was truly amazing.

So many lives were touched and spirits ignited! This profound encounter will undoubtedly bring new energy and faith into our parish life. We can't wait to share more about this incredible journey.

It is hard to believe it is a wrap on our Saints of Service week! Days 4 and 5 were awesome. We got to serve at St. Gregory's Abbey helping them clean a building that had been abandoned for years! And we got to celebrate mass with the Summer Camp children as well!

We also got to have a bunch of fun together at Main Event! Laser tag, bowling and arcade games were a great way to finish the week together.

Day 3 of SOS is in the books! Today we served the Gospel of Life Disciples in South OKC. The students were tasked with various yard work including trimming trees, removing overgrown brush, and weeding. They did an amazing job with the fence despite the wet conditions. Afterwards, Sr. Maria brought us into the chapel of the discernment house for brief prayer. Tomorrow we journey out to St. Gregory's Abbey in Shawnee!

Day 2 of SOS was another great day! Today we served at our home . The students were given several tasks today. Polish everything in the church that was wood, serve the school by helping in the Music room, and help organize and clean out the youth room. It was a full day capped off with a trivia battle between the boys vs girls. Day 3 we will be an adventure to .of.life.disciples discernment houses!

Today at SOS our students visited the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine. The students got to prepare the sanctuary, choir loft, and chapel for the upcoming visit from the National Eucharistic pilgrimage. Big thanks to Cynthia Aranda the Director of Volunteer services for setting us up!

Afterwards, the students were able to get a private tour of the sacristy, visit Tepeyac hill, and enjoy the museum. A great start to our week!
