PRINCIPLE

Prayer should be a faithful part of every day. God wants us to keep praying, watch for His answers, and remain thankful.

PRACTICE

When worry comes today, turn it into prayer. Tell the Lord what is on your heart, thank Him for His care, and trust Him with the answer.

PASSAGE CONTEXT

Paul told the believers at Colosse to remain faithful in prayer. They were to pray with watchful and thankful hearts.

PRINCIPLE

A new month gives us a fresh chance to praise the Lord. We may not know what September will bring, but we know Jesus will be faithful.

PRACTICE

Before noon today, name three blessings and thank the Lord for each one. Then tell someone one good thing Jesus has done for you.

PASSAGE CONTEXT

Psalm 96 calls everyone to praise the Lord. God’s people are told to bless His name and show His salvation from day to day.

PRINCIPLE

Our work matters most when God leads it. He can use the ordinary things we do today to make a lasting difference for His glory.

PRACTICE

Before you begin your biggest task today, pray over it. Ask the Lord to guide your hands, help you do it well, and use it to bless someone.

PASSAGE CONTEXT

Psalm 90 is a prayer of Moses about how short life is. He asks God to give His people wisdom and make their work count.

PRINCIPLE

Today is not about us. The Lord deserves our praise, attention, and best because of who He is and all He has done.

PRACTICE

Before church, take five minutes to pray. Ask the Lord to prepare your heart. Sing with joy, listen closely, and obey one truth He shows you today.

PASSAGE CONTEXT

PASSAGE

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:” Hebrews 10:24, KJV

PRINCIPLE

God wants us to think about how we can help others grow. A kind word and a godly example can encourage someone to love and serve the Lord.

PRACTICE

Before supper, call or text one person with a specific word of encouragement. Invite them to join you at church tomorrow and look for one way to help them.

PASSAGE CONTEXT

Hebrews 10 teaches believers to stay faithful, encourage one another, and gather together. We need each other as we follow Jesus.

PRINCIPLE

Trouble may come, but we never face it alone. The Lord is our safe place when life feels heavy.

PRACTICE

Before noon, tell the Lord exactly what is troubling you. Read this verse aloud, place that burden in His hands, and send the verse to someone who needs hope.

PASSAGE CONTEXT

David praised God for His power, justice, and care. He knew that troubled people could always find safety in the Lord.
