This Sunday, we will introduce a new congregational song, “Abide,” by The Worship Initiative. As we continue our study through 1 John, we come to the reminder that “whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked” (1 John 2:6 ESV). “Abide” gives us a simple prayer that expresses our need to remain in Christ, depend upon Him, and walk faithfully with Him.

We encourage you to listen to the song before Sunday and come prepared to worship as we sing it together.

Knowing Him - An Expositional Study Through 1 John

Beginning Sunday, August 2, at 10:45AM, Pastor Jacob French will lead our church through an expositional study of the book of 1 John. In a world filled with confusion about who Jesus is and what it truly means to follow Him, John’s letter calls us back to the certainty of the gospel. Together, we will see the historical, biblical Christ proclaimed, learn what genuine fellowship with God looks like, and discover the confidence and assurance that belong to those who truly know Him.

Throughout this series, we will walk verse by verse through 1 John, considering what the Word of God says about truth and error, light and darkness, love and obedience, assurance and perseverance. Above all, our desire is not simply to know more about Christ, but to know Him more deeply. Whether you have followed Jesus for many years or are still asking questions about the Christian faith, we invite you to join us as we study God’s Word together on Sunday mornings!

Due to the potential for severe weather in the metro area this evening, we will not be meeting for Home Groups tonight. We WILL however host Home Groups next Wednesday night, April 22. We encourage everyone to stay safe and take necessary precautions as storms move through the area!
