Happy Magic Monday, on a Tuesday, my snake had her first shed so let's talk about the representation of snakes in witchcraft.
Snakes are often associated with rebirth, letting go, and magic. Snakes are an old species that have been on the earth for a long time and are depicted with many old gods, such as Cernunnos, Athena, Ra, and Quetzalcoatl. They were also a big part of Cornish folk magic and represented the constant spiral energy of life.
How can you use the snake in your magic? You can buy ethically sourced snakeskin, and snake skin shed in many places. You can use this just like you would a dry herb, by adding it to candles, sachets, etc. You can also call upon/visualize snakes in your meditations when going through change.

Hey everybody, sorry I missed Magic Monday but I wanted to bring you some info on rabbits, hates, and rebirth with this Easter coming up.
If you're looking for alternative things to do this Easter here's my list of suggestions:
+Decorate eggs with runes/symbols
+Do an egg cleansing/reading
+Plan for a garden
+Donate or volunteer at a shelter or animal related organization
+Share info on the negative effect of gifting rabbits, ducks, and chicks at this time.
+Reflect on your last year and decide what goals you would like to start seeding.
Feel free to comment on what your family does at this time or your suggestions/questions for alternative ways to celebrate.

This coven began as a place for Pagans and knowledge seekers to practice and learn about their craft.
