Codey Cann Medicine Mann
I got asked about CannaChurch OKC, on TikTok, and thought I'd share the response:
We teach about Cannabis being an Entheogen, or Spiritual plant ally, similar in benefit, but not experience, to Ayahuasca, Pe**te, Ceremonial to***co, etc.
Cannabis has the Great ability of helping people be present in the moment, connecting people of different backgrounds, and encouraging creativity, among other things, like the medicinal and industrial benefits.
We say, "CanNamaste", to mean, "The Divine, in me, sees the Divine, in you, particularly through Cannabis!" This acknowledges God, The Divine, that God is in me, that God is in you, that the Divine nature of God recognizes itself in others, and that Cannabis helps people with that realization/ recognition.
We've been gathering since 2020, and got our Licensing for Oklahoma, as a not-for-profit Church, in February of 2021.
We gather every Monday, for Medicate and Meditate Monday. It's BYO Cannabis, we fellowship, and we do a group meditation together. We explore various types of meditation, including guided meditations, sound baths, creative sessions, art meditation, or musical expression. We're planning to do a movie night, outside, soon.
We've had multiple locations, but we're in between locations, currently. We love meeting outside, by a lake, river, or somewhere with a beautiful nature trail, for a walking meditation.
Currently CannaChurch OKC Page, or CannaChurch OKC Group, on Facebook, are the best places for updates, and ANY affirming interaction with us deems you a member, if you so choose!
I've even been to court with a couple of members, as an expert witness, to advocate for their Religious Freedom to use Cannabis in their Spiritual practice. It's been used for Spiritual and Religious purposes longer than The United States of America has been a country.. that's a significant precedent.
I forgot to tell him about Wednesday Outreach.
Should I add anything else???
