🌟July's Youth Spotlight is on O'thaniel Chaffin (aka Man-Man)!!🌟
O’thaniel as you continue to mature spiritually, mentally, and educationally as you become a young man, we want you to know that we see the excellent qualities that you possess. It is these qualities that will indeed continue to help you as you go wherever The Lord calls you. Many people gravitate to your friendship because you carry a kind, compassionate, loving soul. You many times do not hesitate to provide a helping hand to your family, friends, and even your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. You are both respectful and respected. You are not one to shy away from being the “life of the party” as you love to make others smile and laugh. Your developed passion for band 📯, sincere love for music 🎼, and even you being a naturally smooth dancer🕺🏾, are among your God-given talents and skills. You occasionally assist in various areas of the worship service. Because of these characteristics among others, we want you to recognize, that you are a great example and leader to others. Keep in mind, that because of your leadership, you have a significant influence on others. Continue striving to be better. Know that sometimes we fall, but in and with Christ, we are made perfect. Lean on Christ always. Carry your burdens to Him, and He will see you through, as eloquently identified in your favorite scripture, Matt. 11: 28-30. God bless you O’thaniel. Honoring a Legacy Worth Leaving

On yesterday, as we commemorated the significant church anniversary, we did more than celebrate the passage of time—we reflected on the enduring legacy we are privileged to live, to lead, and ultimately, leave for those following in our footsteps.

The Apostle Paul exhorts Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:3 with encouragement grounded in a rich heritage of faith. In the same spirit, we recognize that a true legacy of faith is not solely defined by what one leaves behind—but more profoundly, by what one deposits within others.

Each of us are writing a story—day by day—that will shape and inspire future generations. Through every prayer lifted, every act of service rendered, and every word of encouragement spoken, we are investing in a legacy that transcends material wealth.

One need not possess riches in order to leave an inheritance of faith. A life marked by surrender to God, steadfast love, and unwavering service is a gift of immeasurable worth.

May we continue to live intentionally, lead with humility, and leave a legacy that reflects the heart of Christ.

💛 Faith in Action: Serving Our Community 💛

Today, with the generous donations from our church family, together we made a difference in the lives of our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Through God’s grace, we were able to provide clothing and care packages, offering both practical help and a message of hope.

Every item shared carried not just warmth, but a reminder that no one is forgotten. We’re so thankful for every hand that gave, packed, and prayed. Let’s continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus—loving others, just as He loves us. 🙌🏽

Today we celebrate Juneteenth—a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey toward justice. As a church, we rejoice not only in the physical freedom declared on this day but also in the spiritual freedom we have in Christ.
Let this day remind us that freedom is both a gift and a responsibility. We are called to lift each other up, stand for truth, and continue building a future filled with hope.
