Where do you go to find your strength?

Many Christians think that joy is the reward that we receive after God changes our circumstances, but scripture really teaches us something different. Joy isn’t found at the end of the storm, It’s found in the presence of God inside the storm.

…if your strength comes from you …, it will eventually fail, but if your strength comes from him, you will stand, even when everything around you is shaking.

The world teaches us to match people’s energy.
Jesus teaches us to reflect His character.

If someone chooses to dishonor you, don’t let their actions determine your response. Honor isn’t earned—it flows from a heart that belongs to God.

Your integrity is revealed not by how you treat people who honor you, but by how you respond to those who don’t.

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” — Romans 12:21

But what if you’re still there because of a deeper covenant? Real honor means, deciding who you are going to be, regardless of what others bring to the table.

Most people won’t understand what it costs you, but God sees it. Keep holding the line.

It’s easy to show up on Sundays.
But how are you showing up for the God you worship?

For Jesus?
How are you honoring the One you sing about, pray to, and say you love?

Because worship was never meant to be something we attend. It’s meant to be a life we live.

It’s easy to feel close to God in a room full of believers.
It’s harder to pursue Him when it’s just you and your thoughts.

And maybe that’s the question:
If Sunday disappeared, would your relationship with Jesus still be growing?

The goal was never to survive until the next service.
The goal was always intimacy.

To know Him.
To hear His voice.
To spend time with Him because you want Him—not just what He can give you.

Church is powerful.
Community is necessary.

But your relationship with Jesus can’t be borrowed from a sermon, a worship set, or someone else’s faith.

At some point, it has to become yours.

So here’s the reminder:
Don’t just make room for God on Sunday.

Make room for Him on Monday.
On Tuesday.
On the random Thursday when life feels busy.
On the Saturday when nobody is reminding you.

Because a relationship only grows where time is invested.

And Jesus is still worthy of your attention when the service ends. 🔥🖤
