The Spanish mission will continue under the direction of FBC and will eventually constitute as a church. Cornerstone exists in order to glorify God, by being biblically rooted as a body, seeking to conform each member to the image of Christ, to imitate Christ, so that each member would be fully equipped for every good work and would live a life worth imitating. In order to be a part of this body,
one must be born again, dead to sin and alive to Christ, who gave His life as a payment for our sin, and a continuing in the gospel. Cornerstone sees each member equipped to share their faith, which overflows from a love for God. Cornerstone seeks to make disciples who are Christ-like, that focuses on living a life that overflows from God's Word, together seeking God's face, God's way, for God's glory, by applying God's truth to everyday life, because life in Christ is to be lived out. Cornerstone is to be a body that goes and not just a people who come. Each member is excited about Christ, which would attract others who need the gospel and would cause them to realize that there is true life in the gospel. Each member of Cornerstone has a right view of Scripture that desires to be a member, who is holy, part of a set apart people who are serving, loving, and living sent, so that they would live out the Great Commission. Cornerstone is a body that truly holds to and lives by doing all things for the glory of God and for the love of His great name, by putting to death anything that would be contrary to Him. Confession would be a part of each member’s lives, because Jesus is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Cornerstone desires to build up biblical men that not only can help lead the body, but that can lead their families, through God’s word, so that the families of Cornerstone would live out the gospel at home. Children would honor their parents and grow to honor God, and husbands and wives would be a reflection of the relationship Christ has with the church. This body will be a cross-centered body, striving for truth as one body, with different parts which are equally important. Cornerstone seeks to be marked as a people who pray both individually and corporately for God to move at the impulse of His love, with His mind and His heart at the core of it.
