Pentecost reminds us that the Holy Spirit was given not for complacency, but to empower God's people to be faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ. Through Acts 1–2, Matthew 10, Joel 2, and 2 Kings 4, we are called to hunger for the presence of God, come with expectancy, and make room for Him to work in our lives. The Lord pours out His Spirit on those who seek Him and positions His people to carry His message with boldness and obedience. As the early church waited on the Lord and was filled with His Spirit, we too are invited to draw near, trust His promises, and walk in His power. May our hearts be stirred to pursue Christ wholeheartedly and faithfully fulfill the mission He has entrusted to His Church.
