Good Morning, But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Jn 1:12 In biblical Greek, “believe” (pisteuō) involves, trust, confidence, entrusting ones self, not just mental assent.the Bible also says even the devil “believe” that God exists and trembles Jam 2:19, but that doesn’t save him. True biblical belief is active and relational, Accepting Jesus as the Son of God, the Messiah (Christ), fully divine (“Yahweh saves”), who came in the flesh to save people from sins. His “name” represents His character, authority, power, and mission—not just the word “Jesus.” It means believing He is the only way to the Father Jn 14:6 and the exclusive source of salvation, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.Acts 4:12, how many really believe the way they are supposed to, believe that it will cost them their life to follow Him? What!, wait they told me it was free and He was going to give me whatever I wanted, I didn’t have to do anything but live my best life now? that’s not how it reads, And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Lu 9:23 that’s how it reads, believe it? read the truth, tell the truth, live the truth, its gonna be a good day.

Good Morning, Supposing God tells you to do something which is an enormous test to your common sense, what are you going to do? Hang back? If you get into the habit of doing a thing in the physical domain, you will do it every time until you break the habit determinedly; and the same is true spiritually. Again and again you will get up to what Jesus Christ wants, and every time you will turn back when it comes to the point, until you abandon resolutely. “Yes, but — supposing I do obey God in this matter, what about…?” “Yes, I will obey God if He will let me use my common sense, but don’t ask me to take a step in the dark.” Jesus Christ demands of the man who trusts Him the same reckless sporting spirit that the natural man exhibits. If a man is going to do anything worth while, there are times when he has to risk everything on his leap, and in the spiritual domain Jesus Christ demands that you risk everything you hold by common sense and leap into what He says, and immediately you do, you find that what He says fits on as solidly as common sense. At the bar of common sense Jesus Christ’s statements may seem mad; but bring them to the bar of faith, and you begin to find with awestruck spirit that they are the words of God. Trust entirely in God, and when He brings you to the venture, see that you take it. We act like pagans in a crisis, only one out of a crowd is daring enough to bank his faith in the character of God. Good Morning, God does not keep a man immune from trouble; He says — “I will be with him in trouble.” It does not matter what actual troubles in the most extreme form get hold of a man’s life, not one of them can separate him from his relationship to God. We are “more than conquerors in all these things.” Paul is not talking of imaginary things, but of things that are desperately actual; and he says we are super-victors in the midst of them, not by our ingenuity, or by our courage, or by anything other than the fact that not one of them affects our relationship to God in Jesus Christ. Rightly or wrongly, we are where we are, exactly in the condition we are in. I am sorry for the Christian who has not something in his circumstances he wishes was not there. “Shall tribulation…?” Tribulation is never a noble thing; but let tribulation be what it may — exhausting, galling, fatiguing, it is not able to separate us from the love of God. Never let cares or tribulations separate you from the fact that God loves you. Either Jesus Christ is a deceiver and Paul is deluded, or some extraordinary thing happens to a man who holds on to the love of God when the odds are all against God’s character. “Out of the wreck I rise” every time. Good Morning, Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Matt 6:26 Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow, they simply are! Think of the sea, the air, the sun, the stars and the moon — all these are, and what a ministration they exert. So often we mar God’s designed influence through us by our self-conscious effort to be consistent and useful. Jesus says that there is only one way to develop spiritually, and that is by concentration on God. “Do not bother about being of use to others; believe on Me” pay attention to the Source, “and out of you will flow rivers of living water.” We cannot get at the springs of our natural life by common sense, and Jesus is teaching that growth in spiritual life does not depend on our watching it, but on concentration on our Father in heaven. Our heavenly Father knows the circumstances we are in, and if we keep concentrated on Him we will grow spiritually as the lilies. The people who influence us most are not those who buttonhole us and talk to us, but those who live their lives like the stars in heaven and the lilies in the field, perfectly simply and unaffectedly. Those are the lives that mould us. If you want to be of use to God, get rightly related to Jesus Christ and He will make you of use unconsciously every minute you live.
