you give us the joy of celebrating our Lord's resurrection.
Give us also the joy of life in your service,
and bring us at last to the full joy of life eternal;

O Holy God,

light for my darkness,

O loving God,

wisdom for my confusion,

love for my hate.

O God of peace,

peace for my turmoil,
joy for my sorrow,
straight for my weakness.
O generous God,
open my heart
to receive all your gifts.
