The Devil HATES the church and will do all he can to defile, infiltrate, & destroy the local church and to keep you from faithful involvement in it. Legalism has been one of his most effective schemes.

Find your copy of The Gospel According to Jesus and dust it off—because this Wednesday at 6:00 PM we’re going deeper.
Dr. David Downs will be teaching Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 this month, guiding us into rich Bible truths that help us grow, mature, and glorify God.

In Chapter 4, MacArthur reminds us that Jesus doesn’t offer salvation as a mere benefit. He calls us to become true worshipers—people whose lives and loyalties are transformed.. Salvation means:
• freedom from sin
• reconciliation with God
• a changed life
• obedience to Christ
• following Him wholeheartedly
• becoming a genuine worshiper

In Chapter 5, MacArthur makes a powerful point:
Jesus receives sinners—but He refuses the self‑righteous who see no need for repentance.
The problem isn’t that Jesus doesn’t want them; it’s that they don’t recognize their need for Him.

Come ready to learn, ready to grow, and ready to be shaped by the truth of God’s Word.
