How close are you to God? Not how much you know about Him, but how well do you truly know Him?

Distance distorts perception. When we love Jesus from afar, we miss the intimacy He desires with us. Just like a marriage requires closeness to thrive, our relationship with Christ demands proximity. James tells us to "draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." This isn't about Sunday attendance or religious routine—it's about desperate pursuit.

David said, "As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You." That deer isn't casually looking for water—its life depends on it. Your soul was created to live in God's presence. Everything else you're drinking from—success, relationships, entertainment—will leave you spiritually dehydrated.

God doesn't want your convenience. He wants covenant. He's not looking for perfection; He's looking for your hunger. When you get close enough to Him, you'll stop doubting His love and fearing your future. The question is: will you give Him 100% or nothing at all?
