Good morning family. Prayed everyone made it through the literal “storms” yesterday along with the storms in our lives. Which got me thinking this morning…so hold on.

With everything the world is throwing at us, we need to truly need to rely on the particular fruit of the Holy Spirit….JOY

Our joy is not based on wealth…
On success…
On comfort…
Or on perfect circumstances.

Our joy comes from knowing God personally and trusting His promises.

As a joyful Christian, we then become the light in a dark and discouraged world.

Joy influences the way we speak…
How we respond to difficulties…
And how we interact with others.

Joy protects our heart from bitterness…
From hopelessness…
From envy…
And from negativity.

Our joy grows stronger through prayer…
Through worship…
Through gratitude…
Through Scripture…
And through fellowship with God.

When we focus continually on God’s faithfulness…
Our joy will begin to overflow naturally.

We are called to rejoice not because life is easy…
BUT BECAUSE GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD AND REMAINS IN CONTROL!

Good morning everyone,

Today, as we wake and start our day,
we need to remind ourselves of the beautiful truth that God’s mercy is new every morning.

We rise every morning…not because of our perfection…
but because of His compassion…
and His unfailing love.

Every breath we take should remind ourselves that God has not given up on us.

His mercy covers all our past mistakes…
strengthens us for today’s challenges,
and prepares the way for tomorrow’s blessings.

No failure is to great for His forgiveness…
and no burden is too heavy for His grace.

Let your heart rest in the assurance that God does not treat you according to your sins…
but according to His mercy.

Today is a new day to walk in freedom…
gratitude…
and confidence…
knowing that His loving kindness surrounds us.

Very inspirational singing and a timely message. When you hit the end of your rope….when you start to lose hope, remember God is always there and He’ll pull you through.

5th Sunday singing blessed all of those who were there. You missed a blessing if you weren’t there.

Today, we need to rise under the loving and gentle hand of a God who exalts the humble and resists the proud. Humility is not weakness or insecurity:
It is strength surrendered under God’s authority.

So as you begin this day,remember that every blessing…
Every availability….
And every opportunity comes from the Lord.

Walk today with a spirit that is teachable…
That is gentle…
And that is surrendered to God’s will.

Let your heart remain free from pride…
Free from arrogance…
And free from selfish ambition.

True greatness in the Kingdom of God is found in not exalting yourself,
but in serving others with love and humility.

Let your words, actions, and attitude reflect the humble nature of Christ.

Remember today that obedience to God is not a burden…
But a blessing that protects,
Guides,
And strengthens our lives.

God’s commands are given in love to lead you into peace,
Wisdom,
And His perfect will.

So today…choose to honor Him in your thoughts,
Your words,
Your actions,
And your decisions.

Even when obedience is difficult, trust that the Lord rewards those who faithfully follow His voice.

Keep your heart sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and may your life reflect a sincere desire to please God in all things.

Yesterday was “The Pentecost”…the beginning of the modern church…the day that God sent His Spirit to dwell in all who believed. Lessons from today were:
You can’t buy the Holy Spirit…your heart has to be aligned with Him.

Today…it’s not national BBQ day, it’s the day we remember and honor all those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Remember those families who lost their loved ones. God bless each and everyone of you.
