Camp Laurent, Lisbon NY Camp Laurent Inc. is a church-owned facility located in Lisbon, New York on the banks of the beautiful St. Lawrence River.

It is operated and maintained by the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ or the “White Church.” Originally built at the turn of the 20th century as a retreat and sum mer family home, Camp Laurent soon gained a reputation for being the
place to go for summer camps. From 1950 through the late 1990’s, Camp Laurent was used for Christian summer camps by the local churches. Situated on

the banks of the mighty and majestic St. Lawrence, one can view a sunset or sunrise, take a quick walk to Lisbon Beach or find your favorite spot to relax on the grounds of Camp Laurent.You’ll find modern amenities mixed among the rustic feel of attending camp.

Sorry to say Camp Laurent will remain closed again this year. We still lack approvals, permits and man power. If you had reached out earlier about using the facilities, we will not be able to accommodate you this year.

Come support Fall Harvest Day at the Depot there will be vendors, food from the grill starting at 11:30-1; wool spinning demonstrations, apple cider pressing from 2-4, the museum has many upgrades and will be open to tour and more. Update: March 18, 2023

It is with sad hearts that we announce that Camp Laurent will NOT OPEN until we have the proper permits from the DOH and DEC. We continue to work with these agencies and an engineer, but things are on hold as we wait out summer weather to do further probing of our system. We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for continuing good thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

UPDATE for 2023 SEASON: At this time our hands are tied. We are still working with an engineer, the Department of Health, and the DEC to see if our water and sewage system is up to their standards. We don’t know at this time if we will be able to have any activities out there and have no idea if/when we will be given the green light to open. We will update as we can. Sorry.

We want to thank all of you for coming to the Lisbon Depot this past Saturday and supporting our mum sale. Without your support we would not be able to keep doing the many needed repairs and upkeep that the camp requires. We appreciate all of you more than words can say. May the Lord continue to bless you and your families. 😎

Just a reminder that we will be selling mums and having some crafts available for the children, or the young at heart, on Saturday, September 24th at the Lisbon Depot Museum. Mums are $7.00 or three for $20.00. We will be there as well as other venders from 10-4 or until sold out. Thanks for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you there.
